Along with Tuscany, Piedmont is a region in Italy, which can boast the widest range of fine wines produced, heirs of a thousand-year tradition, that endow Italian wine-growing sector with grandeur. Barolo, Barbaresco, Asti Spumante and many other worldwide renowned wines are produced on the lands of Piedmont.

This guide contains all DOC and DOCG Piedmont wines, counting more than 150 types.  There is a detailed yet concise chart for each wine, presented in simplicity, so that anyone can appreciate and feel the quality of the wine they selected. Each chart contains: description, alcohol content, color, smell, taste, best serving temperature, recommended glass and food matchings.

The application allows you to browse through wines in 4 ways, which lead you to the presentation charts.  You can search for a wine by type (red, white, rosè and sparkling), consult a list of wines produced from a particular vine or make a query for wines that match a particular dish or food and view the presentation chart for the wine recommended. You can also query by the name of the wine, which will take you directly to its presentation chart.
